Description: Three films. Five Children And It - On holiday in Kent, Anthea, Jane, Cyril, Robert and baby Lamb stumble on a marvellous creature hidden in a gravel pit. This hairy, ancient creature is called a Psammead or Sand-fairy and is able to grant the children one wish each day. But the children never remember to think before they wish and consequently find themselves in lots of trouble. Two Brothers - Set in the early 1900's, the film follows the story of two brothers, Kumal and Sangha, tiger cubs born to the Great Tiger and Tigress amidst the ruins of a forgotten temple, in the heart of the Asian jungle. Their idyllic existence is cruelly interrupted with the arrival of treasure hunters, who stumble across their home and end up killing the Great Tiger. Kumal is captured and eventually becomes part of a circus act, where his fighting spirit is quashed. Meanwhile his brother, Sangha, is taken by the Prince and his gentle nature is damaged by the Prince's animal trainer, who determines to turn him into a fighter for sport. Destined to meet again, the two must face each other in an arena where they must fight to the death... James And The Giant Peach - Combined stop-frame animation and live action film follows the magical journey of James as he flies over the Atlantic on a giant peach, accompanied by a group of animal friends, telling of their adventures on the way. Based on the book by Roald Dahl.
